We only build with the latest technology including the most powerful ballasts available. We offer three different kits: The Gen I is Chinese, the Gen II is Korean and the GEN III “high-end” kit, uses German Ballasts with Japanese bulbs. All kits are more reliable and stable than most other aftermarket kits we have seen. If you want the highest level of performance, most reliable kit, go with the Gen III, for the money our Gen I kits will blow you away and the Gen II kits have it all long life and very stable electronics at a mid level price. We have been looking for years for a decent HID kit from China. We looked at them all and finally found a supplier on the right track. It took some development work but they finally passed our rigorous durability and easy installation standards. These kits are not the cheap universal ones you see on EBay they are bulb type specific and really very nice. They draw their own power from the battery so no cheepie harness like many Chinese kits. Now any HID kit costing this little is not going to perform or last quite as long our Korean kits and not be as close to perfect as our Japanese / German H.I.D. kits, but you get a ton of bang for the buck with these kits. Most importantly you get the protection that only Coolbulbs.com can offer (a one-year warranty, a 90-day no questions return policy any restocking fees and constant factory support for years to come). Many of you are going to ask questions like, “what is the difference between these kits and your high end kits?” The easiest way to describe it is the difference between a Chinese car a Korean car and a Japanese car, they all go down the highway just fine, it is more a question of longevity and refinement. If you just want bright lights at a great price the GEN I kit is for you. If you want something that will last 10 years through thick and thin then the Korean kit is for you. On the other hand, if you are upgrading a 90's Ferrari you want the Japanese / German Gen III HID kit. Not just because it’s the priciest, but it can handle extreme conditions like racing temperatures and off road vibrations. For most of our customers we are going to recommend the GEN I kits as they strike a great performance / value target. If you want something really nice and the cost is not the most important thing, then the GEN II kit is perfect. If you always buy the best for your baby or are really hard on things, and or, are racing or doing serious off-roading, then the GEN III is bullet proof as well as tight and seamless. If you are nervous about installing it, I promise you it is easy and you don’t even need directions just take it all out of the box and start plugging it in and you will see each plug only goes in one way so no mistakes are possible, but you can always email us at Sales@coolbulbs.com and we will help you, emails comes to our Blackberrys, so help is even available at night! What I always tell people is buy what you want and if you get it home and you just can’t deal or are not happy for any reason just send it back for a refund -- we are easy going! Even try it for a month or so and then return it if you want -- we are cool. Local Stereo shops or similar 12-volt install shops are also happy to help with an install. New car dealers do not like to get involved in this stuff but local mechanics can help if you need it too!
We’re always working hard to build the highest performance HID kits while still keeping our prices low and we think you will be excited by the performance. HID systems produce about 150-watts of light while using only 35-watts and they also produce less heat than your stock bulbs. Our High Intensity Discharge kits are true "snap in" HID headlights, pre wired for quick “click and go” installation that converts most bulb types to a night vision fantasy. We always hear people say, “My Mom said the kit I put in her car took 20 years off her eyes.” MAKE SURE TO VISIT OUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PAGE THERE IS ALSO MORE WARRANTY INFO, INSTALLATION INFO AND |

Warning
Watch out for those cheap HID kits available on the net or at auction!!! Look carefully at their real return policy. Do they have a restocking fee even if you didn’t even open their kit? Or what if when you tried it out you just decided the light did not match the color of your new sunglasses and you want to try another kit? Most other guys will charge you for this. To me companies that care about their customers and stand behind their products don’t charge restocking fees period. Imagine if Target or Best Buy said they were going to start charging restocking fees… Plus our kits never require modifying your headlight housings or your wiring harness.Once you do this you can’t go back to regular bulbs.
We never charge any strange fees nor do we charge for “handling.” We ship by FedEx Ground and pass along the shipping charges to you . No hidden fees, fast cheap shipping and no sales tax charges. What could be better?
Easy to install-
Our bulbs are made to simply plug into existing headlight reflectors and come with a special, easy to install, wiring harness that connects the system to your existing headlight socket. Most models require running a power line to your battery, but that’s easy. The kit includes everything you need, a pair of Bulbs, Ballasts & Custom Wiring Harness matched to OEM connectors. Detailed easy to follow instructions are included. Installs in less than an hour with simple hand tools.
A lot of people ask, “Can I really install this HID kit myself?” Yes you can! The wiring is about as hard as plugging in a new VCR. The hardest part is just tucking all the wires out of the way so they are not just hanging around under your hood.
We offer the H4, 9004 and 9007 bulb in two styles (low only) in which case you will lose your high beam and (Hi-Lo). Don’t even consider the (Low only) option unless you have never turned on your high beams because you will lose that function permanently. Our Hi-Lo kit uses a magnet to direct the light at a high or low angle so your lights will work just like normal. For more info on the most common questions we get (our FAQs), click here.
These lights are covered by a 90-day money back guarantee and a 1-year warranty. Most systems should last 10 years or 2500 hours before bulb failure. The warranty is void if the cause of damage or failure is due to abuse, neglect, improper installation, and use other than the intended use or application, accidents or natural disasters. All bulbs are tested and burned-in by the manufacturer prior to delivery. Burst / exploded HID bulbs are not covered by warranty. You must obtain a Return Authorization number from Coolbulbs before a return will be accepted. In some countries these bulbs go by other names so if you don't see your bulb type here check out this conversion chart. If you don’t see it listed here or below then we don't carry it, sorry.
